Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to present the influence of legally regulated interchange fee amount on non-cash turnover. The larger number of point of sale terminals has resulted in the increase in a number and amount of non-cash transactions, what minimally enables banks to compensate for the reductions of revenues due to the above mentioned fee.The papers published in the ASEJ Journal (alternate title: Zeszyty Naukowe Wyższej Szkoły Finansów i Prawa w Bielsku-Białej) - published by the University of Applied Sciences in Bielsko-Biała, are online open access distributed (Creative Commons Attribution CC-BY-NC 4.0 license).
